Leased Lines

Beaming provides leased lines using optical fibre technology. With speeds from 10Mbps to 10Gbps and beyond, Beaming has the capability to deliver any requirement nationwide.

Within the UK there are two major wholesale providers, BT Wholesale and Virgin Media. Beaming has relationships with both and as such, where optical fibre can be provided, Beaming will provide it at a competitive price. The advantage of using optical fibre is the speed at which data can be transmitted in both directions and there is an upgrade path to speeds far in excess of what the largest enterprise currently needs. There are longer lead times than there would be for broadband and for this reason, if a customer urgently needs connectivity Beaming will often provide an aggregated broadband solution as a temporary service until the fibre is in place, after which time the broadband solution acts as the backup line. This is particularly useful for clients who do not sign a lease on a building until the last possible minute before they are due to move office.
